Grand Assembly
Why do we have a Grand Assembly every year and what do we do?
Our Schedule
Grand Assembly happens over a 3 day weekend.
Friday Sessions
Friday is arrival day and our sessions that day take place in the evening.
Saturday Sessions
Saturday sessions last all day with breaks in between for girls to relax and have fun.
Sunday Sessions
Sunday marks the end of Grand assembly. Sessions start early and end before the afternoon.
Friday Sessions
On Fridays, our sponsoring bodies join us to open the weekend. We introduce everyone that night, present several charities with the contributions we raised over the year, and then close the night with a fun activity after the session.
Saturday Sessions
Saturday morning after breakfast, we have our ceremony to welcome new members into Rainbow, dedicate babies of our alumni, and hold a memorial service for those we have lost. We break for lunch, enjoy time by the pool, and rest up for a banquet and an activity planned by the Junior Grand Executive Committee in the evening.
Sunday Sessions
On our last day of Grand Assembly, we have breakfast together, then hold a ceremony to install our members into their new positions for the upcoming year.
